You will work closely with client project teams to determine work scope requirements, monitor and control project costs, and pro-actively resolve variances from project plans.KEY JOB DUTIESDesign oil and gas pipelines, pipeline metering facilities, gas compression facilities, liquid pump stations, gas processing, dehydration, heaters, filter separators, and slug catchers.Design hydrostatic tests, pipeline replacements, station replacements.Design hydrostatic tests for pipeline segments that require a valid strength test to establish the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) of the pipeline. Review historical documents, verify prescribed test boundaries and identify potential hydrotest obstacles.Responsible for pipe sizing calculations, valve sizing, hydrostatic test design; hydraulic design, compressor designs, pump designs, interactions with regulatory and permitting agencies as well as other pipeline engineering support.Specify materials and equipment for purchase, using data sheets when required. Write equipment specifications for purchase when required.Work closely with other disciplines to prepare and submit engineering design packageReview engineering plans to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, standards, and industry best practices.Assist in preparing Request for Proposal responses as needed.Coach and mentor others on engineering principles.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBachelor of Science degree in an Engineering Discipline (BSME).Valid Professional Engineer license preferred.A minimum 6 years of professional experience with 6 years in oil & gas/utility industry.Three (3) years leadership or managementPreferred to have experience with some or all the following: city and rural type installation of pipelines, trenchless installation methods understanding and calculations knowhow, project management experience in the application of pipeline design, construction experience in the field of pipeline installation.Thorough knowledge of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), piping drawings, isometric fabrication drawings, bill of materials, and general arrangement drawings.Good knowledge of industry codes and standards ASME/ANSI/API/NFPA/CSA codes (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, 49 CFR 192 & 195).Excellent written, verbal communication and organization skills.Required SkillsUnderstands and is proficient with required codes and regulations.Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them.Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands.Has developed excellent communication skills, both written and verbal through experienceStrong interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitudeExcellent written, verbal communication and organization skills.Detailed oriented, excellent organizational skills and time management skills are necessary.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.Ability to develop and follow schedules.Basic understanding of CAD.Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including internal resources and clients.Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members and clients who come from both technical and non-technical disciplines.Willingness to travel as dictated by project demands.WHY CAMPOS EPC?Campos EPC offers industry leading pay, a great team environment, and a rewards system that aligns your compensation with your success.
