We are Moesle Meat Distribution Co. and we are hiring drivers - Class A and Class B. We have been in business since the 1940's and are expanding our team. Our Company offers a strong background, opportunities for growth and STABILITY.

**BASIC PURPOSE:**

The primary function of this position is to drive a refrigerated tractor trailer (48' and 53') or straight truck (26') and manually unload, using a power / hand truck or two-wheeler on metal truck ramps or lift gates, with meat products to customer drop-off sites while providing excellent customer service. Return the empty trailer to the distribution center. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

**Main Responsibilities of the Job**

* Drive to and deliver customer orders to meet scheduled customer times and maintain adequate productivity rate to meet delivery schedules.

* Unload products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and place items in designated customer storage areas.

* Verify delivery of correct items with customer and obtain proper signatures.

* Collect money (cash or checks) where required.

* Heavy customer service- customer interaction.

* Willing and able to:

+ Perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 50 pounds or more.

+ Make frequent stops during the course of a work shift.

+ Drive and work in inclement weather conditions.

**What You Must Have**

* Must be at least 21 years of age.

* Must have valid CDL A or B issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualified, including valid medical card.

* Minimum six months commercial driving experience Ability to operate manual transmission preferred.

* Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)

* Be responsible for equipment used, including trucks, pallet jacks and the like

* Must take DOT drug testing as requested by Management of the Company. Drivers will attempted to be tested monthly as requested by Management in a random fashion (using random generator, etc.). All new hires must be DOT drug tested as condition of hiring.
