The A/P Manager Bryan TX, holds the key role of overseeing and executing all tasks within the accounts payable function. This includes providing support and guidance to the daily operations of the accounts payable team and ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of systems. The manager assumes responsibility for the meticulous maintenance of all payment and transaction records, playing a pivotal role in coordinating the entire payment process. In essence, this role involves a comprehensive and hands-on approach to managing the various aspects of accounts payable operations.

Expectations & Accountabilities for A/P Manager Bryan TX:
Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers to capture cash discounts and maintain credit rating.

Maintains transaction records to ensure accurate accounting reporting and proper accounts payable register.

Administrator of the company credit card and travel reimbursement program.

Supervise the receipt of invoices, verification, record of transactions, and direct expenses.

Review vendor and service provider agreements.

Track and pay sales and use tax.

Reconcile statements and payment records.

Correspond with vendors and internal employees regarding billings and payments and work to resolve billing issues.

Analyze accounts.

Obtain monthly vendor statements to reconcile all outstanding invoices.

Prepare reports.

Streamline the payment process.

Assist with audits.

Lead AP team for daily AP work while providing a supportive environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar field preferred

7+ years of Accounts Payable experience

2+ years of supervisory experience

ERP system knowledge

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel

Accounting to GAAP standards knowledge
