Senior Accountant

Location: Midvale, Utah, 84047

Pay : $75K-$95K

Length: Direct Placement/ Permanent Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday - 8am-5pm

Hybrid: In-office 3 days (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) 2 days at home (Tuesday, Friday)

What You Will Be Doing:

We are seeking an experienced Sr Accountant to assist our Financial Reporting team with controlling, analyzing, and reporting

financial transactions and performance As a Sr Accountant, you will oversee the reconciliation of company account balances, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate has experience collaborating with a team of Sr and Staff Accountants.

+ Work closely with Staff Accountants and Managers to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting

+ Reconcile and oversee critical general ledger accounts

+ Manage the reconciliation process of all balance sheet accounts

+ Assist in year-end financial audit by preparing and reviewing audit schedules and interacting with auditors

+ Ensure integrity of financial systems by working closely with the Functional Systems Manager and Information Solutions department to ensure accounting and reporting systems are maintained and functioning properly

+ Manage any proposed changes to the companys account structure and trial balance

+ Responsible for managing various ledgers in the Oracle ERP system, including the consolidation ledger

What You Bring:

+ 2-4+ years of operational accounting experience

+ Experience with Month-end, audits, and reconciliation

+ Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or applicable

+ Tier 1/Tier 2 ERP system

+ Excel Pivot Table, VLOOKUP

+ Good tenure - can't be a job hopper unless it's contract/consultant-based experience

Work Environment:

+ Team of 5 sr accountants that will collaborate with 15 additional staff accountants
