Job Description:
Discover Financial Services is looking for a Principal Business Risk Control Specialist to join their team. This individual will be responsible for identifying risks in the Marketing sector and developing strategies to manage them. They will collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Risk functions to ensure effective risk management practices. Responsibilities include overseeing compliance and operational risk activities, assessing risks, implementing controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves evaluating and enhancing operational processes, managing risk issues, and reporting to senior management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
6+ years of experience in Financial Services, Marketing, Compliance, Internal Audit Operations, Vendor Management, or related field
In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of relevant experience
Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges between $86,500.00 to $145,700.00, with additional incentives based on various factors.
