CHI St. Alexius is looking for a RN to join the Maternity and Women's Team

Looking for a RN who believes in the power of #humankindess. RNs with CHI St. Alexius function as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. This individual will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.

**What youll do:**

+ Accountable for all Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities as well as the following duties and responsibilities.

+ Demonstrates knowledge of unit standards of care, staff competencies, and individual patient care needs in facilitation proper patient placement and patient care assignments.

+ Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination, physicians, and management, using and promoting effective communication strategies to meet inter-and intra-departmental needs.

+ Actively role models and coaches the behaviors associated with leadership and assist others in developing their skills and knowledge.

+ Successfully completes the defined job specific competencies, including competencies for age specific, as appropriate.

**Skills** :

+ Demonstrates ability to organize personnel assignments and activities for others for the overall benefit of the unit.

+ Working knowledge of clinical skills in delivery of patient care.

+ Demonstrates proficiency in unit and the ability to function efficiently during crisis

+ Basic Life Support Certification within the orientation period and meets re-certification as required.

**Work Agreement:**

+ FTE Status - Full Time - 0.9 72 hours per pay period

+ Shift Type - Rotating (Day/Nights)

+ Shift Length- 12 Hrs

+ On Call Expectations - Yes

+ Weekend/Holiday Frequency: Every 3rd Weekend/rotating two per year with the exception of the rotation which includes Easter as a non-paid holiday

**Qualifications**

**MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**

Education: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.

Experience: At least two (2) years clinical experience within specialty area preferred.
