Senior Network Security Engineer

We are currently looking for a talented Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and deploying our security platform and solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include performing network and host threat assessments, identifying and mitigating security risks, and ensuring the integrity of our security systems. You be primarily responsible for the administration of Palo Alto Firewalls, Fortigates, and F5 Load Balancers.

This is a onsite position, requiring at least 4 days in one of our office locations. The locations are based in Texas, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, and Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Security Manager to enhance the company's security measures. Administer and manage all aspects of Palo Alto Firewalls. Administer and manage all aspects of Fortigate Firewalls, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. Administer and manage all aspects of F5 Load Balancers. Assist in the configuration and administration of various security systems and tools. Respond to security incidents and document incident handling and resolution. Monitor system activity to enforce security policies and procedures. Investigate security violation reports and update security controls as needed. Provide after-hours monitoring and on-call support. Must-Have Skills:

Proven experience with Palo Alto Firewalls. Proven experience with Fortigate Firewalls, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer. Proven experience with F5 Load Balancers. Strong understanding of network and host threat assessments. Ability to develop and implement action plans to mitigate vulnerabilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills for effective incident reporting and resolution.
