Starting at: $16.50 per hour, depending on experience. PLUS $2 extra per hour after 4 pm

Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Dining Room Manager, the Server is responsible for consistently providing the highest quality of service and hospitality to residents and their family members, co-workers, vendors, and all visitors. They will seat customers, present them with menus, and answer questions regarding food preparation. They are expected to clean and sanitize workstations and service areas and follow all regulatory rules and regulations.
Some qualities we are looking for:
Ability to work independently, with time management skills
Wine knowledge, ability to make suggestions to pair with menu items
Outgoing and friendly
Experience with fine/elevated dining service
Knowledge and experience with catering and small functions
No late nights
Low volume but high quality
Duties include and are not limited to:
Providing and contributing to a professional and productive environment by promoting a positive image and collaborative working style
Observing surroundings and resident behaviors, and taking responsibility to report potentially unsafe resident situations to supervisor
Attending staff and other mandatory trainings/meetings as expected
Adhering to all safety rules and regulations including proper lifting and transfer techniques, use of cut gloves and personal protective equipment
Adhering strictly to Serv Safe standards, HACCP standards, and industry best practices for sanitation and safe food handling
Adhering to all Company rules, policies, procedures and expectations
Complying with all the expectations of essential personnel including the ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, weekends, holidays and in severe weather
Establishing and maintaining cooperative relationships with residents, staff, and others
Completing required paperwork thoroughly, accurately, and on time
Preparing and setting up dining room in a sanitary and timely manner
Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the service and dining areas
Assist with dishwashing duties
Stocking all areas as needed and ensuring compliance with FIFO and proper storage methods, labeling, and dating of products
Demonstrating effective communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions when necessary
Reporting to work well-groomed wearing assigned uniform and/or name tag as directed
Maintaining professional behavior and following attitude expectations, while creating a positive and fun work environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the Wait Staff is frequently exposed to the environmental conditions of a busy kitchen and will be exposed to outside environmental conditions traveling between buildings. Wait Staff is frequently exposed to chemicals, solvents, sterilizing agents, grease and oils.

Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good command of the English language is required.
Serving: 1 year (Preferred)
Restaurant experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Weekend availability
All employees are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19, including the latest booster.
