Overview:
The

Float Universal Banker

provides extraordinary service and assistance to our Clients, the Banks Relationship Banking team, and other Business lines of CrossFirst Bank. This position is expected to travel amongst the retail locations in the Kansas City market, fill in for other employees when needed, and/or on a rotating basis. This position requires a high level of accuracy to comply with regulatory requirements and minimize risk.

Responsibilities:
Open personal checking, savings, CDs, and IRA accounts; open business checking accounts. Obtain appropriate documentation and follow-up with clients after account opening.
Perform personal banking transactions for clients, such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
Complete account maintenance for clients, such as address changes, debit cards, title changes and research requests; provide copies of checks, statements or other documents as requested.
Assist Relationship Banking and other business lines with Account openings, CD renewals, and account maintenance.
Serve as backup support for relationship banking team at other locations within the area.
Possess a clear understanding of technical aspects and features and benefits of the Banks products and services to effectively cross-sell additional products.
Actively engage clients, listen for opportunities to provide recommendations and referrals to other business units to meet client needs.
Provide guidance for maximizing FDIC coverage, assist clients with appropriate titling of accounts and respond to more complex client deposit needs.
Respond to client questions or concerns in a friendly and helpful manner; research issues and escalate if necessary.
Participate in business development strategies including Bank promotions, community involvement and cross selling efforts including follow up calls.
Meet or exceed all goals, projects, and targets.
Communicate effectively with Manager, especially if issues or concerns arise with ability to meet deadlines or provide appropriate coverage.
Deliver services accurately and on time.
Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
Represent the Bank and Relationship Banking team in a highly professional manner.
Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Reliable and predictable on-site attendance.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of personal and Private Banking deposit products and processes, as well as banking rules and regulations.
Prior experience in a similar role within retail banking services, preferably in a commercial bank.
Knowledge and experience with bank processing software.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with office automation equipment, including phones, computers and scanners as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Bachelors degree with exposure to Accounting or Finance courses is preferred or equivalent work experience.
This position will require local travel and on a rare occasion, there may be out-of-state travel, which may require overnight stays. Reliable transportation is required.
