Agility Partners is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Technology Support Administrator role. The Tech Support Admin is responsible for providing expert solutions and technical support for all supported Desktop Hardware platforms and Software Applications. Also responsible for maintaining a knowledge-based system of reported problems, timely escalation of unresolved problems. This position also is responsible for providing technical administration for all desktop personal computer systems. Responsible for installing and maintaining all desktop hardware, personal computer operating systems (Windows, Mac & iOS), and application software. Performs first (Tier I) and second level (Tier II) troubleshooting and problem resolution support for the Helpdesk. Performs PC hardware and software moves, adds, and changes. Assists Lead PC Support Specialist and Network Administrators in various project tasks as assigned. Maintains documentation on the installation of desktop personal computer operating systems and applications software. Assists in the evaluation of new computer hardware and software. Responsible for the appropriate escalation of unresolved problems or questions to other technical staff members. Responsible for finalization of reported problems. Includes updating knowledge-based system and contacting users to verify closure and ensure satisfaction. Maintains or assists in maintaining knowledge-based computer system. Includes data entry of reported problems, questions, and resolutions. Also generates statistical reports for management as requested. Documents and communicates standard policies and procedures as defined by management. Develops and provides technical coaching and mentoring to other Helpdesk members and End-users. Minimum Education and Experience: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience Minimum of 1 year of technical experience supporting and maintaining personal computers and desktop applications in a business environment. Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in supporting Microsoft Windows desktop infrastructure, IOS and related technologies.
