Summary/Objective:

Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing the preparation of individual, fiduciary, business, gift and estate tax returns. Previous experience with fiduciaries, partnerships, S-corps, and tax resolution work desired. Also responsible for internal bookkeeping, auditing, and reconciliations. Responsible for participating in business transactions. Education Experienced CPA preferred or a minimum of 5 years tax preparation experience. Essential Functions Prepare and review tax returns. Assist in hiring and training of seasonal tax interns. Accuracy a must. Organized. Remain updated on changes in tax law and current tax practices. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Days and hours of the office are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nights and weekends as needed for the position, particularly during tax season. Required Qualifications: CPA preferred; or A minimum of 5 years’ experience in preparing, reviewing and filing tax returns. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
