Commercial Insurance Service Manager/Team Lead

Job Summary

A leading agency is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Insurance Service Manager/Team Lead. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive performance to meet and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities

Manage and lead a team of insurance service representatives, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance, productivity, and efficiency. Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving escalated client issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, underwriting, and claims departments, to streamline processes and improve service delivery. Monitor team performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance service offerings. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and continuous learning within the team. Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management on team performance, client feedback, and operational improvements.

Qualifications/Requirements

Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members. Possesses a high level of account management expertise and a comprehensive understanding of various insurance products, demonstrating the ability to provide expert advice to clients. Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction. Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams, with a focus on achieving performance goals and driving results. Possesses the ability to skillfully mentor and coach team members, fostering individual and collective growth. Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License. Preferred Agency Management System Experience: Applied Epic Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial insurance services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role – required. Holds at least one professional designation or has comparable job experience. Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
