Overview:

Insight Global is in search of a Structural Engineer with 10+ years of experience to support one of our largest Engineering Consulting companies in the Western PA region. This person will lead challenging projects of various construction types in a wide range of industry sectors. Projects will vary in locality from local and regional work to overseas, providing unique engineering experiences. Project types will include municipal, industrial, commercial, government, forensic, renovation work on historic structures, and civil works (spillways, flood walls, and gate structures) projects for the US Army Corps of Engineers. The successful candidate will work with other team members in the delivery of company project initiatives related to structural engineering. The ideal candidate enjoys working as a team player in a flexible environment and seeing the work followed through during onsite visits.

Day to Day:

* Lead the development of advanced structural designs, calculations, and analyses for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.

* Utilize STADD to perform detailed structural analyses and provide innovative solutions.

* Take a lead role in managing and overseeing structural engineering projects, from conceptualization to completion.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

* Engage with clients to understand project requirements, present technical solutions, and ensure client satisfaction.

* Contribute to business development efforts by participating in client meetings, proposal preparation, and networking activities.

* Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of structural designs and documentation.

* Stay abreast of industry advancements and changes in building codes, integrating them into project designs.

* Provide on-site support during construction, addressing any structural issues and collaborating with construction teams to ensure project success.

* Conduct periodic site visits to assess construction progress and resolve technical challenges.

* Master's Degree

* Professional Engineer Certification (PE)

* AutoCAD , Revit

* Experience being Client Facing
Must Haves:

* Bachelor of Engineering

* 8+ years of experience with Structural

* 5+ years of experience with STAAD (Structural Analysis Software)

* High Load Structural Detailing
