Job Description

Summary/Objective The Supervisor is responsible for accomplishing project objectives by overseeing and improving the performance and productivity of the crews. The employee plans, audits, and evaluates the performance of project activities. Essential Functions: Counsels and coaches General Foreman by communicating job expectations. Monitors job activity and enforces policies and procedures. Communicates with customers regarding meeting objectives. Manages budgets. Completes daily work orders and other projects within the AMS software system. Member of safety committee and attends weekly safety calls. Reviews training of personnel and managers. Recruits, hires, terminates, and promotes personnel. Supervisory Responsibility: This position oversees General Foreman, Crew Leaders, Crew Members, and assigned projects. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the Supervisor works outdoors, exposed to all temperatures, weather, and nature. The employee will be exposed to excessive noise. Physical Demands: The Supervisor enters and exits a vehicle numerous times per day. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when working within the work zone. The employee must be able to lift, move, and maneuver 30 pounds on average.
