What you need:Three to five years of experience in servicing sprinkler systems and suppression systems.Proficient in following written and verbal instructions, with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.Ability to maintain productivity in the field, set goals, and meet service schedule.Competent in reading plans, documents, meters, and to discern colors for safety signage.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.Eagerness for professional development and growth.Ability to pass various background checks.Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.Desirable (but not required): NICET I OR II, Avigilon Cert, other manufacturers certifications. What you will do:Installs, tests, and repairs security, camera, access control, suppression, and fire sprinkler systemsTroubleshoot system malfunctions and problemsKnowledge multiple types of systems and test for proper operationConsults with client on system issues; provides recommendations for repairUses blueprints or building plans to determine proper systems to install/service based on building layout and settingInspects and tests systems; make adjustments and repairs as requiredReplaces malfunctioning hardware when necessaryEnsures systems comply with NFPA fire codesExplains and demonstrates system function and operations to end usersPerforms other related duties as requiredBe on call as requiredServe as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or emailPerform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questionsProvide support for form development and maintenance of inspection formsFollow design plans for installation jobs and communicate any design, perform service and deficiency jobs, and communicate and document any changesResponsible for materials delivered to site and for minor fabrication on job site. Expected to function as the company representative on job site and may be expected to oversee the day-to-day work of other employees assigned to the job.This role is designated as safety-sensitive due to responsibilities that could entail the use of motor vehicles, mobile equipment, working at heights, climbing ladders, and utilizing lift equipment.
