Here's Why Caregivers Like Working for Us:Flexible schedulingPTOBonuses for referralsSupplemental Insurance opportunitiesCaregiver Recognition & Rewards ProgramNamed Employer of Choice by Home Care PulsePaid Training and DevelopmentPaid travel time in between clients and paid mileageResponsibilities and Duties:Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)TransportationFeedingDressing/ShavingPrepares meals and snacks according to instructionsAccompany patient on errands or medical appointments.Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroomPerforms patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):Medication remindersAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercisesMeasuring and preparing special dietsUnderstanding dementia careIncontinence careQualifications and Skills:High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check Nice to Have's:•Home Care Aide (HCA) license is preferred•1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities). Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile (preferred)Why Right at Home?
