Job Summary: Old Tucson Entertainment is looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to join our team, with a solid knowledge of both classic and contemporary cocktails, as well as demonstrable experience in a fast-paced, high-volume food and beverage space. Old Tucson bartenders provide an excellent guest drinking experience whilst creating both classic and innovative drinks, exceeding customers' needs and expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers.
  • Take orders.
  • Manage Inventory.
  • Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
  • Prepare and serve beverages in-keeping with Old Tucson standards and recipes.
  • Ensure the bar and storage area is stocked and organized.
  • Maintain a clean/hygienic bar including prep station, utensils etc.
  • Make suggestions based on customers' tastes and preferences.
  • Process POS, cash-handling.
  • Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED Certificate.
  • Minimum two (2) years of bar or restaurant experience which includes drink preparation.
  • Current beverage service certification or other certification as required by federal/state/local law.
  • Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • Experience with TOAST POS (preferred)
  • Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Confident mixologist as well as experience with beer and wine serving.
  • Work well under pressure and as a team-player.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong task and time management abilities.
  • Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
Work Environment:
  • Ability to pull, push, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Both interior and exterior work environments.
  • Able to walk, stand, and maneuver on uneven surfaces.
  • Extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays (Required).
