A client of Insight Global is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Kansas City, Kansas. This role is ideal for early-mid career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in geotechnical engineering. Youll receive hands-on training and mentorship from experienced engineers while contributing to a variety of projects. Responsibilities include: Conduct site investigations, field testing, and laboratory analysis of soil, rock, and groundwater conditions. Perform geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, earthworks, slope stability, and retaining structures. Prepare technical reports, geotechnical recommendations, and design calculations. Interpret geotechnical data to support infrastructure design and construction. Collaborate with civil, structural, and environmental engineers on multidisciplinary projects. Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and environmental regulations. Monitor construction sites to ensure geotechnical designs are being implemented correctly. Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and timelines.
