The IT SOX Sr Auditor builds strong relationships with our Valley Technology clients and acts as a liaison between Internal Audit and our Co-sourced IT Audit partners. Assist with the oversight of the co-sourced IT Audit team, both from an audit coverage perspective and administratively. Assist with the execution of IT SOX testing and IT related Risk assessment, works on department special projects and acts as a trusted advisor to the IT business partners.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Strong technology audit experience, preferably in Banking.
Solid experience in MS, Information Systems, Cybersecurity.
Experience and/or exposure to SAP and FIS products is a plus.
Experience in IT SOX testing.
Experience with Cloud technology processes including monitoring controls over third party providers.
Analytical, audit planning and organizational skills.
Ability to identify risk, both current and emerging.
Ability to design audit test steps for complex areas.
Adequate understanding of business processes, and financial reporting & analysis.
Ability to use KPI's and KRI's for continuous monitoring.
Practices proactive communication, advising all stakeholders of their progress and any inability to make an assigned deadline.
Knows how and when to apply a technical skill or procedure.
Demonstrates appropriate and effective business writing, e.g., audit issues, memos.
Very strong interpersonal skills - gains cooperation and respect from peers.
Adheres to the IIA and IAS Standards.
Demonstrates reliability and dependability.
Demonstrates commitment to common goals of team over individual goals.
Helps train less experienced staff.
Performance management skills - includes ability to provide timely and valuable feedback. to team members when in-charging an audit.
Required Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a business or technology related field such as Accounting, MIS or Finance and a minimum of 3 years ITGC Audit/SOX experience.
Preferred Experience:

Prior audit experience in Banking
Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Constantly operates a laptop computer.
Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading or visual inspection of work.
The person in this position frequently communicates with peers within own department or other departments. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
Occasionally drives to other company offices to conduct business.

Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform and provide feedback to the IT risk assessments, assist with the execution of the audit plan, and audit work.
Works with the co-sourced IT team to provide value-added recommendations to the client.
Builds relationships outside the department, promoting a positive image of IAS.
Keeps current on emerging risks related to areas of responsibility.
Builds productive relationships with colleagues and clients, increasing the value of IAS and the co-sourced team.
Reviews and challenges audit coverage of the technology universe and scopes of technology audits, as well as SOX.
Administrative responsibilities associated with the IT co-sourced team.
Participates in the execution of integrated audit assignments, including conducting planning, fieldwork, work paper review and reporting.
Assist co-sourced IT Audit team in coordinating, planning, and executing the IT SOX testing, ensuring reliance ability by external auditors.
Maintains audit manual IT content, standard testing templates and other IT audit artifacts.
Works to apply data analytics where possible.
