The QHSE Director is responsible for overseeing and implementing the Unit's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policies, procedures, and initiatives. The individual may lead a team of QHSE professionals and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, promote a culture of safety, improve operational efficiency, and minimize environmental impact
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

QHSE Strategy and Leadership

•Develop and execute the QHSE strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and goals.

•Provide strong leadership and guidance to the QHSE team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

•Engage with management to communicate the importance of QHSE and gain support for initiatives.

Compliance and Regulatory Affairs

•Monitor and interpret QHSE regulations, ensuring compliance with Newrest, local, regional, and international standards.

•Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues.

•Collaborate with regulatory authorities and maintain all necessary permits and certifications.

Health and Safety

•Develop and implement comprehensive Health and Safety policies and programs.

•Assess and mitigate workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment for everyone.

•Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.

Quality Management

•Oversee the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement efforts.

•Implement quality assurance processes, ensuring products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.

•Facilitate internal and external quality audits and manage corrective actions.

Environmental Management

•Develop and implement environmentally sustainable practices to reduce the company's environmental footprint.

•Track and report on environmental performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.

•Foster environmental awareness and responsibility across the organization.

Training and Development

•Conduct QHSE training programs to educate employees on policies, procedures, and best practices.

•Ensure proper training and competency assessment for QHSE team members.

Reporting and Analysis

•Prepare and present QHSE performance reports to management and stakeholders.

•Analyze data to identify trends, make data-driven decisions, and develop action plans.

•Be diligent, punctual, and reliable.

•Perform other duties as assigned.
