Responsibilities:
  • Review contracts to identify and interpret complex financials.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance to contract terms and commitments including commissions, volume allowances, profit splits, etc.
  • Ensure accounting conforms to internal accounting policies and procedures based on IFRS.
  • Ensure accuracy of monthly P&L statements each period.
  • Ensure balance sheet accounts reflect the correct balance and are reviewed and reconciled monthly.
  • Analyze P&L statements and balance sheet for possible misstatement.
  • Maintain highest degree of internal control possible.
  • Drive, create, and implement new processes and strive to identify and implement process improvements for existing procedures.
  • Create and maintain checklists to ensure compliance with contractual terms.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1+ years of related accounting experience
  • Intermediate Excel experience
  • SAP financial module, working knowledge of Access a plus
  • Experience with contract interpretation a plus
  • Experience with Hyperion/Essbase a plus
