Our client is seeking several experienced Engineering professionals to join their team, located in

Savannah, GA

, to work in the capacity of

Manufacturing Engineer

. The client’s manufacturing facility produces automotive interior parts such as door trims, headlining, and tailgate trims. Responsibilities

Perform all work assignments in accordance with company safety and quality polices practices, and procedures.

Work closely with management, quality control, operators, and third-party machine manufacturers to ensure manufacturing needs are met timely.

Proficiently understand and use mold and extrusion systems, ERP systems and programming systems- Must have Injection Molding experience.

Trouble shoot and set up of molding, forming and assembly machines and systems.

Use company document management software to write, record and manage SOP’s.

Implement and improve manufacturing processes.

Ability to plan proactively with management.

Ability to quickly respond to manufacturing concerns.

Ability to use internal software systems.

Ability to work well as a member of a team and individually.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BS in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering is required.

3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience is required.

Injection Molding experience is required.

Hands-on knowledge and experience using ERP systems and programming systems is essential and required in this role.

Proficiency in using mold and extrusion system is mandatory in this role.

Strong, good verbal written, and interpersonal skills are required.

Experience and success in working as both an individual contributor and a team player is essential in this role.

Experience in working in a diverse work culture is strongly preferred.

Experience working within a team culture and environment is essential in this role.
