**Description**

This is a full time position that will average 35-40 hours per week. Hours will vary between the hours of 5 am to 9 pm, including Sunday mornings.

**Position Responsibilities:**

* Assures the facility is kept neat and clean through completion of daily checklists.

* Cleaning of all rest and locker rooms on a daily basis.

* Maintain all floor surfaces (Wet & Dry Mopping).

* Empty all trash containers and change liners.

* Assist with set ups as needed.

* Spot clean interior and exterior glass surfaces.

* Spot clean carpets as needed.

* Dust and polish furniture and fixtures throughout facility.

* Move and arrange furniture as needed.

* Monitor and replenish dispensers throughout facility as needed.

* Follow proper handling and mixture of various cleaning chemicals.

* Monitor inventory control.

* Communicate with staff and residents in a professional manner.

* Other related duties as directed.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**

* Ability to work independently.

* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* Ability to be on feet for long periods of time.

* Ability to work on ladders.

* Time Management: ability to multitask and strong organizational skills.

* Able to follow direction with minimal supervision and follow through on assigned tasks.

* Ability to communicate, interact and work positively and effectively with staff and residents at all levels.

**Physical Demands & Work Environment:**

* Required to sit, stand, walk and move or transport oneself around the building and property for moderate to extended periods of time.

* Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

* Works indoors and outdoors.

High School or better.

**Experience**

**Required**

**1 year:** High School diploma or GED preferred and one (1 ) year of experience working in a janitorial role, preferably within an HOA or property management environment. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to interact with residents and staff. Valid Driver's license.
