Team Overview: Acute Care team specializes in delivering urgent medical interventions with precision and compassion. We collaborate seamlessly across disciplines to address critical healthcare needs promptly and effectively. Work Hours:

(Full time 32hrs) Mon-Thurs. four 8 hours shifts or three 12 hours. Will accept Part time hours.

Position Overview:
  • Prepare Patients for Radiological Procedures: Ensure patients are prepared for radiological procedures according to established protocols. Prioritize patient care and safety throughout the preparation process.
  • Take X-rays Following Established Procedures: Perform X-ray imaging following prescribed techniques and safety guidelines. Position patients correctly and operate X-ray equipment efficiently.
  • Develop and Process Radiological Images: Develop and process radiographic films or digital images accurately. Ensure clarity and quality of diagnostic images for physician review.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians: Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians. Collaborate with healthcare team to meet diagnostic imaging needs.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Compliance: Ensure all radiological equipment is in good working condition. Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Report Equipment Malfunctions: Immediately report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor. Facilitate prompt resolution and minimize impact on patient care.
  • Supply and Inventory Management: Maintain examination rooms and stock radiological supplies. Monitor and replenish necessary office supplies to support efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with Physicians: Work closely with physicians to receive guidance and instruction regarding patient care. Assist in interpreting imaging results and providing support as needed.
  • Additional Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as delegated by supervisors or healthcare providers. Contribute to a collaborative and patient-centered care environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Certificate from accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • New York State license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical laboratory experience a plus
  • Knowledge of EHR or EMR strongly preferred
