Duties and responsibilities for the phlebotomist include obtaining blood ordered by a licensed health care provider, labeling the specimen collection tubes with the patient's name, preparing and spinning specimens, preparing patient's paperwork for documentation, and submitting specimens for processing into the designated pick up box.The phlebotomist will actively listen to issues and concerns of the participant and demonstrate a professional image.
