Central Kids Director

SUMMARY
To provide central leadership and pastoral assistance to the Rock City Kids Department. To ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the overall operations of the Rock City Kids program at the central level.
GENERAL DUTIES
Execute the vision of Rock City Church and Rock City Kids
Provide oversight, leadership, and vision to Rock Ciy Kids Ministry
Manage centralized Kids budget
Support Location Kids Directors
Manage central kids creative requests
Develop and evaluate centralized policies and procedures to ensure safety, health, and security of kids and volunteers
Identify and implement programming in each area of Rock City Kids
Provide oversight for weekly age-appropriate curriculum for Rock City Kids
Equip families with resources and materials for connecting with their kids and programming offered through Rock City Church
Develop central communication for trainings, events, process updates and strategy
Create implementation strategy/task delegation for Rock City Kids events
Develop strategy for identifying and training high-level volunteer leaders to support accelerated organizational growth
Develop recruitment strategy for the on-boarding of Kids volunteers at all locations
Provide oversight for central volunteer team management
Assist new locations in initial purchasing, set up, volunteer training, and strategy
Support church wide events (child dedication, baptisms, Rock City kids events, parent/family small groups, 21 days of prayer and fasting, Christmas, etc.)
Coach and develop direct reports (communicate job expectations, providing feedback, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results)
Conduct timely performance evaluations for direct reports
Train and develop location kids directors for campus launches and help successfully launch campuses
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
3+ years in kids ministry or related experience (required)
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook. Must be willing to learn new programs as needed
Heart for children and parents
Ability to communicate the Gospel through various means to children at various ages
Proven ability to lead teams
Strong communication skills
Superior interpersonal skills working with a variety of people
Positive attitude and positive approach to problem solving
Good steward of time and resources
Self-starter and can champion new initiatives
Experience with Special Needs (preferred)
