While your work may not always involve direct patient interaction, your accuracy and attention to detail will have a meaningful impact on patient care and treatment outcomes. A caregiver in this role will work varying shifts, providing coverage for other caregivers on PTO, call offs and weekends./ppA caregiver who excels in this role will:/pulliProvide distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the Registered Pharmacist./liliRefill and maintain automated dispensing systems./liliFill medications carts daily./liliPrepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department./liliRepackage bulk medications./li/ulpMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED./liliCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National HealthCareer Association (NHA)/liliRegistration through the Ohio Board of Pharmacy (OBOP) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee/li/ulpPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:/pulliCompletion of a formal Pharmacy Technician Training Program/liliSix months of hospital experience/li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliTypical physical demands include ability to perform functions of the job while reaching and stretching, and manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer functions of job./li/ulpPersonal Protective Equipment:/pulliFollows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required./li/ulpPay Range/ppMinimum hourly: $23.00/ppMaximum hourly: $23.00/ppThe pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidates actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidates work history, experience, skill set and education.
