With more than one million tons of structural steel fabricated over the past 20 years, High Steel Structures LLC is proud of the quality reputation we've earned as the steel fabricator of choice for North America's transportation infrastructure projects.We are always looking for experienced Welders/Fabricators to join our dedicated 3rd-shift team, in Lancaster, PA.Shift Hours:Monday - Thursday, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM. (Shift technically ends on Friday at 7:00 AM) ****Coworkers must be flexible and available to work overtime or some weekend, as requested or per business demand.Skilled candidates start at $20.00 or higher, based on experience. 25% shift differential on top of base hourly rateWelders / Fabricators are responsible for performing various fitting, layout, welding, finishing, grinding and related operations to assemble and fabricate various structural steel units, including bridges and other building products.Our next team-member will ideally possess the following educational and work qualifications:A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) required. High school or post-secondary coursework or degree in welding/fabrication highly preferred.Demonstrated welding experience, including Stick, MIG, and/or Submerged Arc desired.The ability to work from prints, specification tables and with adjustable layout and measuring instruments critical.Must be able to pass the required welding certification test.Working for The High Companies:At High Steel Structures co-workers always come first.
