The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Sr. Mgr. Health Care within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Performance Mgt & Strategy Division. Job Responsibilities The Public Health Accreditation Senior Manager is responsible for the coordination, development, maintenance, and management of public health accreditation reports, district strategic plan and program-specific strategic work plans, the Quality Improvement (QI) plan, the Quality Assurance (QA) plan, and the Performance Management System. This position supports the Office of Performance Management & Strategy and participates in fulfilling the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the organization. This position will be a key ambassador in building a culture of quality and will be called upon to build broad awareness of our goals and culture of quality improvement. Minimum Qualifications Doctorate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Master's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Five years of management/supervisory experience in health care services OR Two years of experience at the lower level Mgr 3, Hlth Care (HCM012) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions may require certification and/or licensure. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in public health Previous experience with PHAB accreditation LEAN/Six Sigma or other quality improvement framework(s) preferred. Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to apply principles of logical or synthesis functions; deal with concrete and abstract variables; and analyze major problems that require complex planning for interrelated activities that can span one or several work units.
