POSITION: Part-Time Bartender

DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage

REPORTS TO: Bar Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Summary

ASM Global, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-time Bartender at Cowtown Coliseum. This position is responsible for the overall accurate service and accounting of all transactions of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned bar.

+ Performs location worker assignments.

+ Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees.

+ Plans for daily sales flow based on projections.

+ Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Bar Manager.

+ Organizes all paperwork for cashier responsibilities:

+ Physical inventory stand sheet

+ Cash slips

+ Verifies the proper item prices to the beverage menu.

+ Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times.

+ Performs location worked duties as assigned.

+ Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

+ Must be 18 years or older (where applicable).

+ Must have basic working knowledge of cash handling procedures.

+ Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count money and make change quickly.

+ Must have basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operation.

+ Must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work

Hours of Work and Travel Requirements

+ Varies by show to include days, nights, weekdays and weekends.

Physical Demands

+ Must have ability to remain stationary for periods of up to 5 hours.

+ Must have ability to bend, stoop and on occasion lift 35 lbs.

+ Must have ability to speak and understand the primary language(s) by typical guests of the area.
