Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartender to join our team at Ristorante Di Sopra. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering an extraordinary guest experience through mastery of mixology, exceptional service, and a genuine enthusiasm for Italian culture and cuisine.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and serve a diverse range of high-quality cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, anticipating their needs and preferences to ensure a memorable dining experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients, glassware, and bar tools.
  • Uphold strict adherence to responsible alcohol service guidelines, monitoring guest alcohol consumption and preventing over-intoxication.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative beverage offerings that complement our seasonal menus and showcase Italian flavors.
  • Actively promote beverage specials, wine pairings, and featured cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in cash handling, POS systems, and inventory management to efficiently process transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to expand knowledge of Italian wines, spirits, and cocktail techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a bartender in a fine-dining restaurant or upscale hospitality environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Italian wines, spirits, and classic cocktails, with a passion for mixology and beverage craftsmanship.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while prioritizing guest satisfaction and teamwork.
  • TIPS or equivalent certification in responsible alcohol service preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Company Information
Paravicini's Italian Bistro was opened in April 2003 by Chef Franco in Colorado Springs. Chef Franco was raised by Italian immigrants in Waterbury, Connecticut. While Franco is a trained chef, and a graduate of Baltimore Culinary College, his love for cooking and cooking style comes from his greatest mentor, his mother Mary Pisani. Chef Franco has been featured on many local news networks, and with Guy Fieri's, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. "That's a real-deal, old-school Italian dish," Guy declared of the Veal Giuseppe, which comes loaded with cherry peppers, Kalamata olives and sausage. We refuse to compromise on quality in our restaurant. That is why we source our fresh ingredients from local sources for many of our dishes. Chef Franco has built a loyal following with his devotion to fresh, hearty Italian meals made from family recipes.
