We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in Tenant Improvement Commercial Construction to join our Project and Development Services team to manage complicated design and construction projects ranging in size from $5M to $100M total project costs. This role will be expected to provide reliable, timely, and professional project support, and assist with the day-to-day project management activities. The position entails working with a group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Successful candidates will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. Financial institution and Commercial tenant improvement construction experience is desired.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop and execute project specific and client driven goals, schedules, budgets, strategy and detailed assumptions with methodology for accomplishing and/or managing projects and objectives.
  • Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meet both JLL and client needs.
  • Build and maintain rapport with client representatives and ensure that the scopes of project and outside business forces affecting the project is fully understood
  • Coordinate all necessary due diligence efforts on behalf of the internal team, project partners, clients and/or end users, maintaining and delivering all appropriate documentation.
  • Develop a detailed business case with strategy and project budget based on historical and market data with clearly defined set of assumptions.
  • Act as the primary senior level contact with the client throughout the duration of the project. Guide the client and team through the strategy and funding process, design implementation process and signoff, construction administration and project close out.
  • Develop and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended time-frames.
  • Generate, coordinate, interview and provide recommendations through established Vendor Request for Proposals ("RFPs") processes.
  • Interact and negotiate with Contractors and Subcontractors.
  • Lead critical project meetings with internal staff, key stakeholders and external users to ensure responsibilities are efficiently, accurately and effectively communicated and understood by all concerned.
Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management (PREFERRED)
  • Commercial construction project management experience (REQUIRED)
  • Able to manage multiple diverse types of Tenant Improvement projects, varying from $5M to $100M
  • 10+ years' experience in the design/real estate/project management/construction industries
