As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role will report directly to the Corporate Controller.
What you'll do;
Perform month-end close functions including posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations in areas including but not limited to: Payroll, Prepaids, Fixed assets, Commissions, Accruals, and Intercompany transactions.
Help to ensure timely and consistent bookkeeping is performed across entities in compliance with US GAAP and company policies. Assist with month-end reporting packages and flux analysis, investigate variances, and maintain clear documentations.
Execute on aspects of our financial statement consolidation process, work closely and support the FP&A function in month end management reporting.
Provide ad hoc support for technical accounting, support global accounting teams in analysis and resolution of accounting, control, or audit issues.
Contribute to accounting transformation projects.
Value collaboration and take on ad-hoc requests.
What you bring;
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA license or working towards one is a plus but not required.
2+ years of accounting experience in a fast-paced environment. Preferably a mix of both public accounting and Industry accounting. SaaS experience preferred.
Knowledge of US GAAP and experience with operationalizing accounting guidance into policy.
Netsuite experience
Team player, comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic, and changing environment while focusing work on high-risk areas, prioritizing, and resolving issues.
Advanced spreadsheet skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and are comfortable analysing large datasets to make informed conclusions.
