We're hiring an Event Operations Manager to plan and execute Spirit events and game days at a world class level. As the Event Operations Manager on the Fan Experience/Operations team, you’ll report directly to the Director of Game Day Operations and work on game presentation, back of house operations and fan experience. Our team’s purpose is to provide a world class operations and fan experience. This role is ideal for someone with experience in event operations and presentation.To be successful, you will be detail oriented and driven to push boundaries. The Event Operations Manager will: Ensure game runs to team and league specs (arrival, parking, security, officials and team arrivals, locker/training room, timeline) with the support of event operations coordinator. Plan and execute game presentation. Support in-stadium, print, and digital fixtures. Serve as the Field Manager on event day. Serve as a liaison for sporting side of organization as well as opposing team and officials. Physical signage for venue including wayfinding, branding and event specific signage. Supervise the operations assistant team of approximately 20 part time staff members for game days and other event days. Assist with non-gameday events operations. General event operations in planning, execution and feedback. Our ideal candidate has: 3-5 years experience in event operations, game presentation or a similar role. Experience within the sports industry is preferred. Adobe Creative Suite Experience Experience recruiting, hiring and managing a team of part time staff members. Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for long periods of time. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays. Our front office team follows a hybrid arrangement, requiring presence in the office 3 days a week.
