Summary
As the Product Development Financial Analyst/Business Partner, you will collaborate with our client's Product Development team to provide essential financial insights and support strategic initiatives. Your role involves analyzing spending trends, identifying key performance indicators, and offering actionable recommendations to enhance financial performance. With innovation at the forefront of our client's mission, this position offers ample opportunities to drive impactful changes both directly through data analysis and indirectly by influencing processes and policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to Product Development leadership, offering insights on financial performance and actively participating in cross-functional meetings.
  • Assist in preparing annual financial budgets and updated projections to track project performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis between actual and projected budgets, identifying opportunities for savings and presenting actionable recommendations.
  • Provide financial insights during monthly reviews, ensuring key decision-makers understand the drivers of change.
  • Collaborate with Product Development to propose scalable business solutions related to planning and budgeting.
  • Act as a liaison between the business team and accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools for Product Development analysis.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive results.
