Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities: Perform routine servicing tasks such as applying lubricants, checking alignment, calibrating instruments, and monitoring equipment for unusual sounds, vibrations, or performance issues. Troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, power heads, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs), particularly in 480V environments. Address urgent equipment failures to minimize downtime, including repairs on large-scale finishing machines and conveyor systems. Conduct inspections and testing as part of preventive maintenance programs, ensuring optimal function of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam-powered systems. Take on specialized projects, such as maintenance and repair of boiler systems. Use diagnostic tools and precision instruments to assess system performance and ensure accurate calibrations. Support a safe and productive workplace by following best practices and promoting operational safety. Essential Skills: Special Boilers License, 2B Boilers License, or enough hours to test into 2B 3+ years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience PLC troubleshooting experience Additional Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience with preventive maintenance and boiler maintenance Ability to read and interpret schematics Why Work Here? Work Environment: This role is based in an industrial manufacturing environment with approximately 120 employees. The maintenance team consists of 11 individuals, with 2 on the 2nd shift and 2 on the 3rd shift, providing a supportive team atmosphere. Job Type & Location: This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $67496.00 - $77272.00/yr. Will pay for schooling to help increase certifications, goal to get everyone a Chief-level boilers. Workplace Type: This is a fully onsite position in Saint Paul, MN.
