Overview:
The IT Analyst is a multi-disciplined professional with the primary objective of providing services to internal staff and external vendor representatives. Responsibilities are to effectively and efficiently support financial management, invoicing, contracting, and budget compliance. Major responsibilities will be overseeing the submission and approval process for IT contracts, overseeing the process for processing, approving, and ensuring accuracy for IT invoices. There is also a purchasing component where the Analyst will submit, track, and assist with receiving IT capital requests
Responsibilities:- Oversee IT invoice processing. Review and audit vendor invoices including simple and complex IT equipment and services.
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately for services at contracted rates and proactively address all discrepancies in a timely manner. Identify unauthorized charges, claim disputes with vendors as necessary, and manage to resolution.
- Maintain documentation, monitor, and resolve billing inquiries, disputes, and issues related to billing.
- Validate accounting structure (business units, general ledger accounts, operating units) are accurate and reflect the current state of accounting structure.
- Analyze monthly IT costs for all locations, departments, and entities, to ensure consistency and accuracy in allocation.
- Proactively handle all internal customer requests or inquiries courteously, accurately, and expediently.
- Understand service contracts, MSA's, SOW's; maintain records of contract end dates and services.
- Maintain documentation necessary for upcoming contract expirations to ensure renewals are processed and budgeted timely.
- Acts as a liaison between the information systems department and the assigned vendor representative for contract corrections.
- Communicate regularly with users and IT members regarding status, provisioning, etc.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
- Associate's Degree Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field or minimum of five (5) years' experience with IT contracting and billing reconciliation practices Required
- 4-6 years 5 Years Information Technology Administrative Support experience Required
- Demonstrated support experience and knowledge of IT hardware
- Detail oriented, with focus on documenting and following defined procurement process
