A growing entertainment organization in Florida is looking to add a new System Engineering Lead to their growing team. In this role, the System Engineering Lead will be responsible for managing multiple internal IT professionals as well as tracking monthly IT costs and service targets that pertain to their area of responsibility and tracking and reporting monthly performance to the business and IT senior management.

This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

The System Engineering Lead will: Provide consistent implementation of solutions while ensuring the delivery of service to internal customers across all locations Build and maintain relationships with other IT leaders to develop a clear understanding of business needs Develop employees and monitor team effectiveness to achieve timely desired results Maintain currency on new technologies and platforms and provide direction on what emerging retail technologies should be introduced, integrated, and assimilated with the enterprise Provide senior level resolution to internal client issues, champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas Manage ongoing maintenance of existing System Center infrastructure Manage monitoring of all servers, applications and services using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and exceed SLAs Perform a wide range of system engineering and administration duties on web, application, database, and other servers and storage infrastructure Participate in on-call rotation to provide off-hour support; perform troubleshooting as needed Support the development and execution of Office 365/Azure AD roadmaps and service strategy Responsible for the architectural design, development, and implementation of systems in the enterprise Research, identify and develop technology road maps that align with future goals of the business and accounts for growth, new technologies and functionality Collaborate with other IT teams to research, evaluate and recommend system technologies to support business requirements Maintain vendor relationships that bring value to the business Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 5 years of progressive technology experience in software deployments, business analysis, project management or systems support Experience with IT System Hardware & networking Experience with Microsoft 365 Experience in leading initiatives for root cause analysis and new system evaluations Advanced knowledge in Storage Solutions Advanced knowledge in Backup solutions for OnPrem and Cloud Environments Advanced knowledge of installations, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting of Windows Server operating systems Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft System Center suite PowerShell scripting skills Experience with Microsoft clustering technologies used in conjunction with SQL Server, DHCP Server, and Hyper-V, VMWare Advanced knowledge in both Microsoft and Linux operating systems Advanced Knowledge in Cloud Infrastructure & Security, System Administration, & IT Cyber Security skills Experience with PCI compliance and familiar with the PCI DSS requirements Experience with NAS/SAN administration Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Desired Skills: MCSA and/or MCSE Microsoft Azure certifications by Jobble
