Position Overview: As the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our organization, overseeing accounting, HR, and IT functions across multiple locations. You will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, optimizing processes, and providing valuable insights to senior management. This position requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential, combined with exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to support strategic decision-making. Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls, while driving efficiencies and process enhancements. Partner with department heads to analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and mitigate risks. Collaborate closely with HR and IT departments to streamline operations, implement best practices, and support organizational growth initiatives. Provide strategic guidance and insights to senior management, contributing to long-term planning, investment decisions, and business development opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required. Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial principles, and internal controls. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals. Excellent analytical skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience overseeing HR and IT functions is a plus.
