Position: Senior Systems Analyst Location: Richmond, VA or Cayce, SC. Duration: Long Term Job Overview: The Senior Systems Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing, designing, maintaining, and supporting systems and applications within a regulated industry environment. This position requires a self?motivated individual with a strong technical background, excellent problem?solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. The role involves working with both legacy and new applications, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. Responsibilities Analyze existing systems and business processes to identify requirements and design solutions. Write, test, and debug programs to ensure they meet specifications and are functional. Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting for systems and applications. Collaborate with business users, developers, and IT teams to understand needs and explain technical concepts. Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and system design documents. Identify and resolve issues within systems and applications. Implement and support vendor and in-house developed systems. Maintain existing applications across various business units. Qualifications 5+ years of directly related experience as a Senior Systems Analyst. Knowledge of database structures and management systems, with a preference for experience in large, regulated industry environments. Past programming experience with .Net and SQL. Understanding of Oracle and SQL database structures. Desire and enthusiasm to learn new applications and technologies. Innovative thinker with the ability to develop ideas to improve IT processes. Flexible team player with demonstrated ability to work professionally with clients and peers. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to maintain composure in high?intensity situations. Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics. Additional Information Candidate must be local or able to drive to the office or the Thomas Farrell Building in Richmond, VA, or Cayce, SC. Preferred experience in large regulated systems within the utilities or finance industries. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. No travel required for this position.
