We are seeking a Lead Application Engineer to spearhead our application development team, focusing on delivering high-quality applications that our customers rely on for their day-to-day operations. This role involves leading a cross-functional team of developers and designers to create intuitive and reliable applications for both a tablet-based interface for robotic forklifts and a comprehensive cloud application for fleet management.What you'll do:

Upgrade the design and functionality of the apps our customers use to operate our robots to support new features like trailer loading, and remote task assignmentBuild solutions that allow customers to monitor performance, extract business value and configure details of the robots' operating environmentUnderstand our customer needs to ensure the features the team implements deliver maximum valueManage and provide technical leadership for your teamWhat you'll need:5+ years of industry experience developing web or mobile apps in TypeScript and ReactAn ability to drive insight from dataDemonstrable examples of leading a team to deliver high quality applicationsNice to have:Experience with robotics or IoT environmentsFamiliarity with Python, SQL, OAuth, or Android app developmentExperience with Tableau, Atlassian, Agile Methodology or related tools and processesBe located in Austin, TX and able to come into the office several days a week; hybrid work environmentBenefits and perks:A once in a career opportunity to build, alongside colleagues who deeply care (plus robots that aren't bad, either)Competitive salary and stock optionsGenerous healthcare options401k matchUnlimited PTOOther perks that connect us, including lunch on Fridays, team building activities, and more
