to view more details about this job. One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to support the finance department. Responsibilities will include performing routine data entry tasks related to accounts payable, billing, receivables, and payroll, as well as assisting with reconciliations, journal entries, preparation of reports, and maintaining electronic files. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills, and supporting documentation Maintaining accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt, and gathering appropriate signatures Review accounts payable batches for proper general ledger coding and adherence to company policies Review policy parameters to include exercising judgement on capital versus expense determinations Reconcile accounts payable and related general ledger accounts monthly. Complete quarter-end schedules as assigned Execute period closings in a timely manner Provide backup toas needed with the processing of recurring check/ACH/wire payment runs for AP disbursements Set priorities, organize, and accomplish tasks within defined deadlines Possess ability to calculate, post, and manage vendor account and financial records Research issues for vendors and associates Other duties as assigned JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required in accounting or related field Minimum 5 years experience in similar roles; experience in gov con a plus Excellent understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices Comfortable in a fast-paced, results oriented and hands on environment Detail oriented and highly organized Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and handle simultaneous assignments under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment Analytical mind and critical thinker About One Federal Solution
