The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Senior Pension Administrator to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Cranston, RI. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day administration duties and client relationships for a caseload of 75 plans.
  • Demonstrate the ability to read plan documents and amendments and summarize core provisions and explain to clients.
  • Prepare plan amendments as needed.
  • Perform annual compliance testing for assigned clients (402(g), 415(c), 410(b), 404, 401(a)(4), ADP/ACP, Top Heavy etc.)
  • Prepare and file IRS Form 5500, Form 5330, and Form 8955
  • Reconcile plan assets and trust accounting for both R/K Platform and Brokerage Account Plans.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and share information with team members.
  • Monitor the due dates for client deliverables and regulatory reports and provide them in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in Defined Contribution administration with a TPA Firm.
  • Experience with ASC, FT Williams and PensionPro software required.
  • ASPPA certification (QKA, QPA, QKC) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a team player.
  • Clear, accurate and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and TEAMS.
