Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management. Responds to the physical, mental, social and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families. Assesses patients condition, initiates plan of care, re?evaluates and updates as necessary. Obtains all necessary physician orders and collaborates with physician as patients needs dictate. Initiates case conferences to discuss multidisciplinary team responsibilities, pain management, bereavement counseling, etc. Requirements Experience One year Hospice experience preferred, but not necessary 1 year of RN experience required Credentials Licensed Registered Nurse in State of Indiana Current drivers license Must have reliable transportation and insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
