Description

The Part Time Ranch & Spa Receptionist is responsible for providing The Ranch clientele with a professional greeting to the facility and timely processing for scheduled services.

Schedule:
  • Part Time
  • 15-20 hours a week
  • Open availability Monday to Sunday
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the Ranch Experience for members and guests by maintaining the established standards
  • Becomes knowledgeable about the facility and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with members and/or guests
  • Becomes knowledgeable in the line of products carried, their uses, prices, etc.
  • Greets each guest with a smile and direct eye contact
  • Books appointments for spa and salon services, promotes Ranch fitness memberships, and sells personal training pre-paid packages
  • Conducts tours and attends membership meetings as needed
  • Receives payments for goods and services and properly accounts for the money
  • Maintains accurate list of providers
  • Uses time efficiently throughout shift by dusting and organizing display retail area
  • Ensures proper coverage when it is necessary to leave the Ranch reception area
  • Maintains a clean work area free from clutter and personal effects
  • Responsible for learning applicable computer software and trains new employees on how to use it
  • Adds items into retail and professional inventories
  • Maintains adequate supply of all printed material for members and guests, ensuring the smooth operation of the Ranch reception area
  • Processes sales, refunds, gift certificate purchases, etc.
  • Schedules services to ensure smooth, timely, and professional transition for members, guests and personnel
  • Creates necessary reports and daily printouts for management and providers
  • Attends all scheduled meetings
  • Prepares a Report of Day (ROD) indicating any incident or accident to management and informs them of any member, guest, or facility issues
  • Assists staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain facility decorum and prepare for special events
  • Updates co-workers of pertinent information at the end of the shift and maintains and updates the staff communication book
  • Maintains accurate department records, procedures and checklists
  • Assists with fitness and spa opening and closing procedures, including but not limited to computer operations
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Jonas software experience preferred
  • Previous customer service, money handling, and scheduling experience required
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English, have good verbal and written communication skills and write professional business correspondences
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • PC skills required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Well organized, ability to multi-task, efficient
