Job Description As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring that receivables are collected in a timely manner. Your day-to-day duties will include: Processing and posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Generating invoices and account statements for customers. Monitoring customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Responding to customer inquiries regarding their accounts, billing, and payment status. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Supporting the Accounts Receivable team in any ad hoc tasks and projects as required. Qualifications Required: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field, particularly in accounts receivable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration. Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
