A Day in the Life

The Institutional Business Development Associate is responsible for developing new and current client relationships within the RIA space that includes ongoing client & prospect support issues, product positioning/competitive analysis and client presentations. This individual focuses uncovering new business opportunities and provides a broad range of sales and marketing support to the Touchstone Institutional Sales Division. We are looking for professionals that are fully licensed with financial experience that have a drive for business development.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • the RIA space, focuses on uncovering new opportunities through prospecting and maintaining current ones. This includes the use of data to qualify financial professionals to ensure they are the right fit to use Touchstone products.
  • with external wholesaler to construct sales campaign plans for the assigned territories to open up new opportunities and create follow-up plans for past engagements.
  • in-depth analytics of Touchstone products versus the competitive landscape and finds positioning opportunities.
  • to the territory when needed for in-person meetings and conferences to engage with financial professionals.
  • key technologies and resources to support the territories that include Morningstar Direct, Zephyr Analysis, Broadridge and Discovery
