ROCK SOLID JANITORIAL Inc.Floor Tech/Janitor: Part Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)Reports to: Floor Tech Supervisor/Operations Manager/Operations AssistantSummary of Job Duties & Responsibilities: Performs Floor and custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors. Typical tasks performed include a combination of the following:Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors using industrial machines. Cleans carpet with vacuum cleaners and by carpet cleaning bonneting system process. Assist janitorial staff with sanitizing restrooms, empties trash, on occasion using ladders, and dusts and washes walls, ceilings, and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds. Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, upholstery and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. May also sweep walks, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks. Performs other duties as assignedMust be able to maintain confidentiality.Ability to handle difficult situations and persons in a positive and professional manner.Applies effective listening techniques.Ability to motivate others to reach their potential.Performs other duties as assignedSet up carts & brut barrels; reline brut barrels with small &large liners.Pull trash from offices change liners, wipe desk tops as you pull your trashVacuum all offices and close doors after areas are done (Able to lift 45 lbs)Detail section each nightRestroom cleaningSet cart-up replenish suppliesReplenish, toilet tissueEmpty trash (including sanitary boxes)Toilet, urinals, sinks, clean thoroughlyClean all walls by wipingWipe clean all stainless steelSweep floor under toilets urinalsWet mop floorUse air freshenerRestock cart for next day
