Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team in Waikiki. As the face of the bar, the Bartender plays a key role in creating an enjoyable guest experience by preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, including hand-crafted cocktails, wine, and beer. You'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and providing knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage pairings.

Responsibilities:
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hand-crafted cocktails, wines, beers, and other beverages according to our diverse menu and standardized recipes.
  • Guest Interaction: Greet and serve guests at the bar, offering drink and food suggestions, answering questions, and ensuring guests have a positive experience.
  • Service: Take orders directly from guests and input them into the POS system accurately. Promptly address any customer service issues.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies to ensure a safe environment for both guests and employees.
  • Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized, including conducting regular inventory checks and restocking supplies such as glassware, napkins, and straws.
  • Efficiency: Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient operations and a smooth service flow.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining stock levels of beer, wine, liquor, and other supplies, and help with inventory management tasks as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a vibrant and engaging presence at the bar.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant, with extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills and a vibrant personality that thrives in guest interaction and hospitality.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organization: Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively under time constraints.
  • Teamwork: Must work well in a team environment and be adaptable to changing demands.
  • POS Skills: Experience handling cash and using a POS system.
  • Sanitation: Must maintain a clean and organized workspace, and be knowledgeable about health and safety standards.
Education & Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience as a bartender in a full-service restaurant.
  • Health Requirements: Valid Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance required.
  • Legal Compliance: Must meet the minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages and comply with local liquor commission rules and regulations.
  • Appearance: Impeccable grooming, good hygiene, and the ability to maintain required uniform standards.
