Carpenter (Bear IC)

CarpenterBear IC is looking for a skilled and professional Carpenter to join our crew. In this role you will be responsible for the full range of rough and finished carpentry work such as framing, casework, doors, hardware and more. Leave the world a better place than we found it.A typical day looks like: Following company safety manual procedures, and cooperating with our safety representative and job site superintendent in a positive proactive manner Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings and specifications Performing work in the design, construction, repair, and maintenance of structures and related physical facilities under general supervision Familiarity with concrete forming systems as related to footings and foundation walls Familiarity with wood framing materials and methods for wall, floor, and roof framing Ability to work proficiently with metal stud framing and drywall Ability to work from scaffolding, ladders, and or aerial lifts Inspecting completed work for conformance with specifications Performing all necessary paperwork i.e.: weekly time sheets Other duties as assignedDo you have what it takes?High School Diploma or equivalentMust be self-motivated and be able to take directions from others Must be able to work with subcontractors and their crewsAdditional construction certifications or training preferredMust be proficient in the use of hand tools and power toolsMust be able to lift up to 50lbsMust have strong organizational skills in order to handle the variety of tasks assignedMust have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, hand tools, be able to pass drug screening testWhy Bear IC?
